The innovations
On the Internet via browser/PC, as an app and via your TV set (Smart TV, HbbTV), you can now automatically access the new Das Erste media library.
On the start page, you will still find all of Das Erste’s highlights. In the menu, you can also search for the program (Missed a show?) and for shows (A-Z).
Categories on the start page make it even easier to find videos: all movies, all documentaries, all talk shows, all series, etc. at a glance. Plus large, new subject areas: History, Culture, Nature, Comedy, ARD Retro and more …
Of course, there is also the livestream of the First German Television in the channel of the First. What’s new: Other livestreams of the ARD family are just a headshot away, for example, the third programs or Arte, Kika, tagesschau24 …
In addition to films and series highlights of the First, you have direct access to many other programs, documentaries, films, crime stories, magazines, etc. of the Third. This way, not only the offer increases immensely, but also the dwell time of the videos.
In the ARD Media Library, users can expect even more programming: In addition to the content from Das Erste and the third parties, they can find content from the entire ARD cosmos, including funk, phoenix, ONE, tagesschau24, and ARD-alpha.
